Typhoon Yolanda | November 8 2013

Today I woke up around 8 a.m and I was really surprised when I checked the window because I saw the sugarcanes beside our house all lying down on one direction because of the strong wind.  Around 10 a.m it started raining really hard and the wind was stronger even our canopy at the back of our house was literally damaged.

The water also went inside our house but luckily my mind was working even if I'm sleepy, thought of a crazy idea on how to stop the water from coming in.  At first my mom won't believe that what I'm doing will work, but it did! Hihi Garbage bags and Tapes my new bestfriends! "Desperate times call for desperate measures."

Since 9-10 a.m we already don't have electricity, good thing we're prepared. Still don't have electricity until now and CENECO still don't have an estimated time for powers to resume.  Good decision yesterday because before I went home, me and my sister went to a grocery store just to buy Flashlights, Candles and Of course Food.

Now at 8 p.m, no sign of rain and heavy winds here in Bacolod City, really thankful for that.  I really pray for the Philippines and all of the people who are affected by Typhoon Yolanda, I'm thankful that me and my loved ones are safe but seeing pictures and videos of the calamity really breaks my heart.  This November 11 I will celebrate my 21st birthday and my only wish is for people to get up, stay strong and remember that God will always be with us.

Queen City of the South | Cebu Day 3

There's nothing much in our itinerary for Day3 Cebu. Just went to the airport for our flight back to BCD.  The kiddos (Ced and Mavi) together with their mom was at the airport, waiting for us to arrive.

Queen City of the South | Cebu Day 2

Woke up at 8am because we will go at Simala, Sibonga Cebu which is two-hours away from the City.   We hired a taxi the night before, luckily he gave us a cheaper rate for 1500php (back-and-forth).  Before leaving the hotel, me and my cousin bought some mineral water and it was really a good decision because the weather at Sibonga Cebu was really really hot.

After visiting Simala, we went to the famous Sto. Nino Church.

A vacation is not complete without --- Shopping! So after our Church hopping, we went back to the hotel to rest for a while and after an hour or 2 we went to SM.  Ate dinner at Mcdo then went to Crown Regency hotel Tower for our SkyWalk and EdgeCoaster experience. :D

Queen City of the South | CEBU Day 1

This May I went to Cebu for a short-vacay with my Dad, Aunt and Cousin Lucel.  We just stayed there for 3days and 2nights, I really did want to extend our stay but it was still fun.  Our departure from Bcd-Cebu was 2PM (May 15), we left the house early around 12noon because the way to the airport from our house is kinda far.  We had some coffee while we're waiting at the airport.  Upon arriving at the Cebu Airport we went to the Hotel where we will stay, the hotel is definitely at a convenient location because it is near Ayala, SM and the Sto. Nino Church.

Because we were really hungry we decided to go to Ayala to have dinner, we ate at Bon Chon and we got some bread at Bread Talk for our busy day the next day.  After that we went back to the hotel to get some rest.
